At my previous position, our company was facing a significant issue: a time-consuming process for the generation of monthly financial reports. The staff was spending excessive hours manually compiling and cross-referencing the data.

Recognizing the inefficiency, I designed a more automated solution using Python. I discussed with the accounting department to fully understand their needs and then, using my coding skills, I developed a script to collect, process, and display the financial data in a readable format for the reports.

I implemented this solution over a month, testing and tweaking to make sure it served its intended purpose without any errors. End results, the accounting department reduced their time spent on report generation from two weeks to merely less than two days, drastically improving efficiency and productivity, while freeing up an important resource for other pressing tasks.

To address this, I proposed migrating our website to a more robust and scalable solution using Amazon Web Services. I specifically chose AWS due to its scalability and reliability features.
