In a high-stress situation, I usually start with taking a step back to calmly assess the situation rather than making rushed decisions. This is followed by clearly defining the problem which then leads me to identify possible solutions. My next step is to evaluate these solutions, choose the most effective one, and implement it meticulously.

A concrete example of this approach is when I worked for XYZ Company. During a critical project delivery, our server crashed. The whole team was stressed out as our client was waiting for the delivery. I took a deep breath and started dissecting the problem to understand the cause. After a brief analysis, I identified a few potential solutions and picked the best one by considering factors like time and resources. In the end, we were only slightly delayed in our delivery, which was commendable considering the adversity.

Whenever I face a high-stress situation, I practice mindful meditation to help me stay calm and focused. This then allows me to systematically approach the problem with logical steps.
